Arts and Culture at Trinity

At Trinity, we often say that we share God’s unconditional love through spirituality, service and social justice, and arts and culture. But what do the arts have to do with God’s love, one might ask? Well, we believe that God has given us the gift of creativity, and we use art and culture to explore life’s meaning and the beauty of God’s creation (and sometimes the ugliness that humans do to the world and one another).

We welcome in artists and cultural creators of all backgrounds to Trinity: through our church music program, including our fantastic choir and notable organ; the art in our sacred space, featuring a rotation of Stations of the Cross installations by local artists; our artist-in-residence program, which provides a studio space to a local artist who could not otherwise access one; through our partnership; annual concerts by community groups like the NJ Gay Men’s Chorus and the QSpot Band; and monthly concerts in partnership with the Light Brigade Collective, which feature local and regional acts in an all ages, substance-free environment to raise awareness and support for community organizations.
